Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder was left frustrated by refereeing decisions after his side were beaten 2-0 by Burnley.
Josh Brownhill and Zian Flemming scored goals each side of halftime, condemning the Blades to their first home defeat of the season.
Wilder believes his team was “unfortunate” to lose, but admits he was dissatisfied with several of the decisions, particularly the giving of the free-kick that led to Fleming’s goal.
“I didn’t think there was much in the game; it was always going to be a close game,” he told BBC Radio Sheffield.
“I could get myself in trouble; the reaction of the supporters says it all.” The referee should have blown and given us a free kick, but he didn’t, and 10 seconds later they were in the same situation.
“We were unfortunate to fall behind at halftime, but we came out strong in the second half. The timing of the goals provided them with something to hang onto. It was awful to concede a goal and fall down 2-0.
“We’ve had to deal with, yet again more head scratching decisions.”
