Leeds United face transfer competition for cut-price Swiss hot prospect.
The Whites have been linked with transfer for Switzerland U21 international Alvyn Sanches
Leeds United will have to pull out all the stops to secure January transfer target Alvyn Sanches – with the teenager apparently poised for a move in 2025.
The Whites have been linked with a deal for the 21-year-old as they attempt to solve their No 10 concerns ahead of the promotion run-in. Reports in Italy claim the Switzerland Under-21 international might move Swiss club Lausanne either in the January transfer window or next summer.
A price of roughly £7.5m might be enough to acquire his services, with Leeds seeking to add some more attacking alternatives next month. However, that has aroused teams in Serie A, with Lazio and Fiorentina interested in Sanches, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Newcastle United are among numerous Premier League teams also keeping watch on the kid, who has scored nine goals in 21 apperances in the Swiss dometic leagues this season.
He is comfortable in central midfield and, significantly, in a more advanced position, which would appeal to Daniel Farke and Co. Brenden Aaronson has played admirably in the No 10 role this season, but Leeds are unable to replace Georginio Rutter at the conclusion of the su window, with the Frenchman leaving to Brighton late in the summer selling period.
Sanches’ contract extends until 2026, although it is considered a price of less than £10m might entice Lausanne to sell, with the midfielder being tracked by numerous teams.
