The 22-year-old Premier League star might fetch £50 million from Newcastle.

Newcastle United is eager to sign Amadou Onana, a midfielder for Everton.

Since joining Everton, the 22-year-old Belgian defensive midfielder has performed admirably in the Premier League, drawing interest from several other teams.

The player has also been linked to Arsenal.

Everton is looking to bolster its midfield, and they think Onana would be the best long-term addition.

Joelinton, a midfielder, was anticipated to sign a new contract with the Magpies, but the two sides have been unable to come to an agreement on terms. It appears that Newcastle is currently considering other options.

Onana would be a great addition to Newcastle and could start making an impact right away. He knows the league and has made a solid transition to England.

A collaboration between Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes, and Onana seems strong on paper.

Newcastle is reportedly prepared to spend £50 million for the midfield player in the summer, according to a Telegraph story.

Seeing if they can close the transaction will be intriguing. They have an ambitious vision and the finances to bring off big-money deals. The Magpies need elite players in order to achieve their goal of winning significant trophies.

With guidance and experience, Onana, one of the league’s top young midfielders already, should only get better.

If the deal is completed, the Belgian might ultimately prove to be worth the £50 million investment.
