Whatever transpires between now and the opening of the Championship transfer market in a week, Stoke City will need to bolster their roster.

In order to aid with the major task of moving the team up the league table over the next four or five months and

beyond, Narcis Pelach has made it clear that he would want to provide a young bunch a little more physicality and

experience.

“January is going to be very important for Stoke, for us,” the head coach stated yesterday. It’s obvious that we need

to bolster the team. We must do it. To avoid compromising our summer plans, we must ensure that we bring in the

proper players in the roles we desire. The summer is determined by our actions in January. Finding the appropriate

players and people to bring into the club to create the culture we want the players to play with is our responsibility,

even though it’s not an easy one. We need to make sure we represent Stoke City well. I know at times it’s not easy and

you cannot get what you want, this is life, but we have to try to build towards that direction.

Yes, it will be significant, and there have been many difficulties. Referees, players who are in and out of the squad,

and key players who are not yet healthy have all had injuries! We’ve experienced a lot, but I’m not here to whine

because this is my work. I have a responsibility to represent Stoke effectively and to uphold the club’s ideals, which

include perseverance, tenacity, and consistency. Since I am also this, this is what I wish to accomplish.

Events will ultimately determine Pelach’s status and future, and right now, those events feel very overwhelming. He
