With the trade “completed,” Rangers suitors reportedly improve their January coffers by £4.7 million

and £6 million.

After Verona and Sassuolo came to an agreement for Josh Doig’s sale,

It looks like Ridvan Yilmaz’s Rangers exit is going to get more serious in the coming days.

Galatasaray and the Serie A team both received notable remarks.

The Rangers summer window’s most persistent plot point has been Yilmaz’s situation. 22 is Yilmaz’s age.

During his latest press conference, Rangers manager Philippe Clement responded to inquiries about the

circumstances, and it appears the Gers are willing to trade the player—but only at the right price.

In light of the departure of two players, one of the suitors for the Turkish international could soon

have more than £10 million to spend. There is currently a hole at left back.

Josh Doig is traveling from Verona to Sassuolo.

Reportedly, Josh Doig’s move from Sassuolo to Verona “completed a deal,” according to transfer

reporter Fabrizio Romano.

This has been verified by Sky Sports, who announced on their Live Transfer Center (11:04 p.m., 18/01)

that Sassuolo would pay a £5.1 million upfront price for the former Hibs left-back.

The transfer fee may ultimately total up to €7 million (£6 million), according to sources like Football

Italia, who also assert that the agreement includes bonuses and a sell-on.

Nevertheless, as part of the agreement, Hibs will receive a “significant sell-on,” with Josh Doig leaving

Edinburgh for Italy in 2022 after paying an alleged £3 million.

If the rumours regarding the price are accurate, Verona will have spent more than £10 million for each

of their two left-backs thus far this season—even though some of that money may eventually be split with

Hibs.

It follows Filippo Terracciano’s £4.7 million transfer to AC Milan, the dominant team in Italy. The agile

right-midfielder has spent the majority of the season playing left-back for the Italians.

Because of the connections to Ridvan Yilmaz, Rangers now have a significant left-back void in their

lineup that needs to be filled by Verona.

If they’re serious about going for the Young Turk, they will have to donate some of the money they

recently made from Josh Doig’s sale.

According to reports, Galatasaray made a loan bid, but the Ibrox side rejected it. According to reports,

Rangers requested a buy-in this window or a transfer fee.

Verona now has the money and stacks for this January, even though Rangers supposedly demand a

minimum of €5 million (£4.3 million) as a guarantee to sell Ridvan, according to reports from Turkey.

But will they keep their word or bide their time until the final twelve days of the January window?
