Chester FC is pleased to announce the loan signing of Hull City’s defender Noah Wadsworth.
The 19-year-old will join the Blues for the first month from the EFL Championship side and will be ready for selection for our Boxing Day trip to Marine, subject to necessary approval.
Noah, a versatile full-back, joined the Tigers in the summer after beginning his professional career with Bradford City, where he made two senior league appearances.
Wadsworth, who will wear number 24 for the Seals, previously played on loan with Tadcaster Albion and at our level with Farsley Celtic last season.
Manager Calum McIntyre stated, “Noah provides us with options at full-back on both sides of the pitch.
“He is dynamic, has experience at this level, and helps us at a critical moment of the season.
“We are hoping to add to the group in the next weeks, but only if the additions help us in the areas we believe we need to.
“It isn’t a case of adding bodies for the sake of it, but we have a small group and must look to continue to upgrade the group when the opportunities arise.”
We’d like to thank everyone at Hull City Football Club for their help in getting this arrangement agreed upon and signed.
