Leicester City are in the midst of a tough Premier League season and will wish they had one former player on their team.
Leicester won the Championship last season, beating Ipswich, Southampton, and Leeds United in a close fight.
The Foxes have since found it tough to return to England’s top division, as they are presently fourth from bottom and only two points above the relegation zone.

Ruud van Nistelrooy took over as manager of the King Power Stadium last month, replacing the unpopular Steve Cooper.
The Dutchman has had a mixed start to life, most recently seeing his team crushed 4-0 by Newcastle United after overcoming West Ham and drawing with Brighton.
A setback at St James’ Park has highlighted the significance of their six-pointer versus Wolves. Van Nistelrooy expects strong players like Jamie Vardy and Facundo Buonanotte to step up, but he also hopes to rely on another player.
Leicester has lost several excellent players, and the summer transfer window in 2023 witnessed the departure of some amazing talent.
Following their relegation from the top division, the Foxes sold James Maddison to Tottenham and Harvey Barnes to Newcastle in a lucrative deal.
The worst loss, however, was midfield wizard Youri Tielemans, who left the club on a free transfer after his contract with the King Power ended.
Tielemans joined Leicester from Monaco in 2019 and made 195 appearances for the club. As a deep-lying playmaker, the 27-year-old scored 28 goals and assisted 26 times.
After scoring the winning goal in the 2021 FA Cup final against Chelsea, supporters will cherish the Belgians’ time in Leicester and they will be eternally imprinted in the club’s history.
Fans must now wait and see Tielemans blossom under Unai Emery at Aston Villa.
Tielemans stars for Aston Villa in the Champions League.
Tielemans has gone from strength to strength at Villa since leaving Leicester after four delightful years, when he excelled in their Champions League campaign.
