“Could be the real deal” – Claim made on Norwich City attacker

“Could be the real deal” – Claim made on Norwich City attacker.

People think Oscar Schwartau is Norwich City’s most exciting young star and believe he will do very well because of how skilled and physically good he is.

In the summer, Schwartau moved from Danish team Brøndby to the Canaries. His countryman Johannes Hoff Thorup quickly brought him to Carrow Road after seeing how good he was in the Danish Superliga last season.

This season, the 18-year-old has only started seven of Norwich’s sixteen Championship games, so he hasn’t been playing very often. But he’s still young, and his time will come.

With a four-year deal, Schwartau is likely to play a lot of football for the Canaries in the years to come, and he’s been tipped for big things. Throup has handled the young player to make sure he doesn’t play too much Championship football before he’s ready.

We asked Zeke Downes, a big Norwich City fan, who he thought was the team’s most exciting young player. He said that Schwartau is that player and that he will make a big difference for the club in the years to come.

“I think the most exciting young player for us is probably Oscar Schwartau,” Zeke told Football League World.

This player, who is still young, is beginning to look really good. We’re not trying to overuse him as well, because there’s been a time where we’ve been a bit limited for players in midfield, but I think Thorup is reluctant to overuse him at an early stage.

“He seems like the real deal.” He’s tall, strong, really good on the ball, so I’m looking forward to how he improves in the next two or three years.”

The Canaries paid a reputed cost of £2 million to lure the teenager to Carrow Road, a significant sum for an 18-year-old. Early evidence suggests that the investment was worthwhile.

Norwich haven’t seen the best of Schwartau yet, as he hasn’t achieved his full potential, but with a four-year contract, you can expect him to grow year after year and become a major contributor.
