Cowboys Sign Former 11-TD Receiver Amid First Moves After Packers Loss.
The Dallas Cowboys made their first moves after losing to the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs by announcing the signing of eight players to reserve/future contracts. Jalen Moreno-Cropper and Racey McMath, two receivers, are among the players that signed new contracts.
Before the NFL playoffs, the Cowboys signed wide receiver McMath to the practice squad. In addition, Dallas signed linebacker Buddy Johnson, defensive back Sheldrick Redwine, tight end Princeton Fant, tackle Earl Bostick, cornerback Josh Butler, and pass rusher Durrell Johnson to reserve contracts.

For the Bulldogs in 2022, Moreno-Cropper caught 83 passes for 1,086 yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, in 2021, the receiver caught 85 passes for 899 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Prior to the 2023 NFL draft, Moreno-Cropper was ranked sixth round by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein. After going undrafted, the receiver signed as a free agent with Dallas.

said that coach Mike McCarthy already had a contract with the Dallas Cowboys for one more season.
