Report: Jimmy Butler’s status for Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks is downgraded by the Miami Heat

In the In-Season Tournament on Tuesday night, the Miami Heat will play the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, star wing Jimmy Butler, perhaps the Heat’s best player, will be absent when they play the Bucks.

Butler’s ankle injury has eliminated him from the contest.

Butler will not play for the Heat in this game for the second straight.

The game is against the Bucks. He did not play in the team’s most recent game on November 25 against the Brooklyn Nets, nor did he participate in the game on November 11 against the Atlanta Hawks.

He had personal reasons for missing the Hawks game.

So far this season, the Bucks and Heat have two of the best records of any Eastern Conference team. With a record of 12-5, the Bucks are tied for the second-best conference record with the Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers. The Heat, on the other hand, have a 10-7 record, which ranks fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat have lost their last two games, which shows that even though their record suggests they are off to a good start to the season, they haven’t been playing their best basketball lately.

On November 24, the Heat lost by two points to the New York Knicks in an In-Season Tournament game. The Heat led by 16 points going into the fourth quarter of that game, but over the next twelve minutes, they were outscored 29-11.

Miami most recently suffered a 15-point defeat to the Nets on November 25.

Mikal Bridges led the Brooklyn Nets with a team-high 24 points, and the team outscored the Heat in each of the game’s four quarters.

Although Miami will be playing Milwaukee at home on Tuesday night, the team is seriously vulnerable to losing its third straight game given the Heat’s recent poor play and Butler’s injury. Without Butler in the starting lineup, the Heat might not have enough offensive firepower to defeat a team that features Damian Lillard and Antetokounmpo.
