Shannon Sharpe Explains Why Bill Belichick And The Dallas Cowboys Would Be ‘A Match Made In Hell’

Next season, nobody knows where Bill Belichick, a future Hall of Famer in the NFL, will end up. The Atlanta Falcons confirmed they had spoken with

Belichick following rumors that he was interviewing on Arthur Blank’s Caribbean boat. This is a clever way of stating, “Bill really interviewed us.”

However, the NFL has several openings for head coaches, and every team would be thrilled to have Bill Belichick on staff.

Additionally, it’s possible that the Dallas Cowboys will want to employ Belichick instead of Mike McCarthy because the latter has allegedly been close to Jerry Jones recently.

Shannon Sharpe did not mince words when talking about how disastrous it would be if Belichick worked with Jerry Jones.

He said… “man, do you not understand that Coach Belichick wants authority? Can you imagine Jerry Jones trying to hold a

press conference and tell what’s going on with the team, and you think coach Belichick is going to sit idly by and let Jerry do that?

Absolutely not.”

Sharpe continued, “It’s a match made in heaven.” There isn’t a worse combination than Bill Belichick and Jerry Jones.

Shannon Sharpe makes some really good observations. If Bill Belichick and Jerry Jones weren’t willing to make drastic adjustments to the way they run their teams, Belichick leading the Dallas Cowboys would be an absolute disaster.

Of course, if Jerry Jones is willing to do so in order to create a change, the Dallas Cowboys might only need to cede control to Belichick for a few seasons.

Run for the Super Bowl once more. Jerry Jones, however, is not that way. He oversees the day-to-day operations of his team maybe better than any other NFL owner.
