Rams fans get small bit of medicine they’ve been trying to feed Saints fans for years

Rams supporters receive a tiny dose of the medication that Saints supporters have been denied for years.

Like the New Orleans Saints, some are calling for the Los Angeles Rams to be sent back home. Saints supporters won’t feel sorry for the Rams, though.

In Matthew Stafford’s much-discussed return to the Motor City, the Los Angeles Rams narrowly lost to their former quarterback, Jared Goff, and the Detroit Lions. Some were upset with a somewhat contentious no-call involving Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (who had a GAME). Nevertheless, none of them support the New Orleans Saints, as Saints supporters get to give them what Rams supporters have been giving them since the 2018 campaign.

With Rams supporters, it’s kind of comical. It’s difficult to determine how many of them are genuinely from Cleveland (yep, that’s where the franchise originated; do your research) or St. Louis. Sports teams in the City of Angels frequently experience this, but with the internet age, you never know who is saying what or where.

The main point is that when many flags may have been called on a crucial third down late in the game due to an incomplete Stafford ball intended for Nacua, Rams fans were NOT thrilled.

As you can imagine, the replies are beautiful, and that’s on any tweet with this clip in it. The Rams got away with borderline manslaughter against the Rams in the 2018 NFC Championship, in a play that’s not even worth diving into the specifics anymore since it’s been done to death. Basically, it very well could have cost the Saints a trip to Super Bowl LIII.

Now that the tables have turned, Saints supporters can finally voice what Rams supporters have been trying to express to them for the past five years. “Get over it.” A gun in the rabbit’s hand is not pleasant. Funny thing is, compared to the play against the Saints, this one wasn’t nearly as obvious.

Ultimately, the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints have concluded their respective seasons. All they got was one more game. Nevertheless, it’s encouraging in a way that the Big Easy and sports fans worldwide enjoyed a good laugh prior to the Super Bowl and the start of the extended offseason.
