Rangers have reportedly received offer to sell “fantastic” player.

Rangers has made it known that it has received an offer for a “fantastic” present Ibrox player. The club has responded to the approach accordingly. In recent weeks, the Gers have been heavily favored to add a number of players, and the January transfer window presents them with a fantastic chance to bolster their roster for the second half of the campaign.

Although it appears like Philippe Clement is concentrating most of his efforts on strengthening the left-back position, a lot of this could rely on if Ridvan Yilmaz departs this month. Cameron Pring, a 25-year-old defender for Bristol City with a ton of Championship experience under his belt, has surfaced as one possibility there.

Liverpool left-back Owen Beck is a younger option to come in, having spent part of this season out on loan at Dundee, while Benfica’s David Jurasek has also emerged as a possible addition.

Away from the left-back situation, Rangers are believed to be in a three-way fight to sign West Ham right-back Ben Johnson, who can also play as a midfielder, and rumors of a move for in-form Hearts attacker Lawrence Shankland are also refusing to go away.

Rangers reject Ridvan Yilmaz offer.

As of right now, an update from Sky Sports [via Ibrox News] states that Rangers have rejected Galatasaray’s offer for Ridvan Yilmaz, a £3.4 million loan-to-buy deal that may materialize at the end of the season.

Despite reports to the contrary, there doesn’t seem to be a rush to sell the left-back, who is presently at La Manga for a warm-weather training camp with his teammates.

Regarding Yilmaz’s future at Rangers, opinions may differ. While some may be content to see him stay, others may believe that he could be better, with players like Pring, Beck, and Jurasek all on the list of prospective targets.

The 22-year-old feels like an expendable player because he has only been allowed to make nine starts in the Scottish Premiership this season, indicating that Clement does not view him as an important player. Even though the This Is Ibrox podcast has called him “fantastic”, and he is still a young player, getting good money this month seems like the better choice.

If Yilmaz decides to leave the team in the upcoming weeks, it appears that Rangers have a lot of options for him to choose from. Even if he decides to stay, adding another left-back would make sense.
