Staff at a coastal café were “awestruck” when Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna popped in for breakfast this weekend.
McKenna was pictured visiting SeaYou in Felixstowe on Sunday morning, following his team’s thrilling late victory over Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
McKenna seized the opportunity to photograph staff and other customers in the café while visiting with his family.
Amanda Poole, café manager, said, “It was a delight to have Kieran McKenna stop by with his family and dog for a relaxing breakfast at SeaYou on Sunday morning.
“He warmly greeted some of the restaurant’s stunned young children before enjoying his meal and stopping for a quick photo with our team before departing.
“He was very cheerful, friendly and approachable like all of our other lovely customers.”
Earlier this year, McKenna left staff at a Framlingham confectionery shop “delighted” after stopping in for a treat.
McKenna, who has led Town to consecutive promotions, stopped by Simpson’s Sweets & Milkshakes in the east Suffolk town in June.
