The Danish news site Tipsbladet claims that Celtic kept an eye on the 22-year-old. Kvistgaarden started in Brondby’s draw with FC Nordsjaelland, scoring in the 32nd minute.

The club will be maintaining an interest in the player who, in 108 appearances, has scored 37 goals and assisted 17 times.

Celtic were linked, albeit briefly, with a transfer return for Kvistgaarden before completing a £9m move for Adam Idah. There may be some truth in Kvistgaarden being spied as a potential first team signing at Celtic; although, it may signify the end of an era at Celtic.
