Arnaut Danjuma is still part of Everton’s plans, according to manager Sean Dyche, who has denied rumors that the winger might sign with Lyon this transfer window.

The Dutch international, who is currently on loan from Villarreal to Goodison Park, allegedly “agreed personal terms” with the French team on Thursday.

With so few options in large areas, this left Toffees fans very irritated. Yesterday, Danjuma shared a picture of himself on a plane with his agent on social media, adding gasoline to the flames.

But as TEAMtalk disclosed, Everton was always in charge because they had to consent to cancel his loan arrangement before he could go.

According to our sources, Dyche wouldn’t let Danjuma go unless he could find a successor, and as a result, it looks as though the Dutchman will stay on Merseyside until the campaign is out.

Dyche will be hoping that with his renewed focus, the 26-year-old can help Everton stave off relegation.

Dyche said: “Danjuma is an Everton player. That’s it. He’s never been outside our plans.

He plays for Everton and will be involved in our activities. There’s a good probability he’ll play this weekend.

The manager jokingly commented, “I had a word with him and said it seems excessive to go from Manchester airport to Liverpool airport for training,” on the picture of the jet that Danjuma had shared on Instagram.For myself, I would drive.

Danjuma has a strong possibility of playing for Everton in their tough match against Aston Villa on Sunday, as Dwight McNeil is out with an injury.
