The Belgian manager has reportedly given his recruitment team instructions to find possible midfielders who might bolster his squad after injuries to

Niko Raskin, Ryan Jack, and Jose Cifuentes left the Gers’ engine room depleted in recent weeks, according to Football Scotland.

And as they consider their options during the remainder of January, the Ibrox leadership may turn to 22-year-old Bulat, according to reports that

Director of Football Recruitment Nils Koppen has inquired about the former Croatia youth international midfielder’s circumstances at the HNL club.

The 5ft 10 midfielder has enjoyed a fine season for Dinamo Zagreb and has five goals and two assists from 23 games which has alerted clubs to the playmakers talents though his £5 million asking price could prove to be a potential sticking point.

The Light Blues are definitely in the market for midfielder reinforcements and have also been credited with an interest in Ecuador international

midfielder Oscar Zambrano, though they face serious competition from several English Premier League clubs. Yet to be capped by the Croatian

senior side, Bulat has been capped throughout their youth ranks and is already a two time winner of the Croatian Football League.

Clement intends to be busy during this transfer window. He has already signed Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fabio Silva on a season-long

loan, and there are still rumours circulating about Hearts attacker Lawrence Shankland.

However, there might also be departures from Ibrox. Several sources state that left back Ridvan Yilmaz is “expected” to leave Glasgow this month.

Rangers will not play in the Scottish Premiership again until January 24 when they go to the capital.

However, they will play a mid-season friendly against Hertha Berlin behind closed doors tomorrow before hosting FC Copenhagen at Ibrox on Tuesday, January 16.
