Bill Belichick. With the Patriots, Belichick had an amazing 9 Super Bowl appearances, 30-12 postseason record, and 266-120 regular-season record.

In 2023–24, the Patriots had a 4–13 losing season.

The Atlanta Falcons of the NFC South may be interested in hiring Belichick after Arthur Smith was fired on Monday as head coach.

The “old guard” has changed as veteran championship head coaches Pete Carroll of Seattle and Nick Saban of Alabama have announced their retirements.
