Sky Sports in Ridvan Yilmaz to Verona update after Rangers training camp clue
A transfer report has suggested that Verona are yet to bid for Rangers star Ridvan Yilmaz – as the Turkish international is spotted at the club’s winter training camp.
The 22-year-old Turkish international, who has spent the last 18 months in Glasgow mostly in disappointment, has been linked to a £3 million move to the Italian team. But now that Ridvan Yilmaz is working hard at the Rangers’ winter training camp, a report claims that Verona has not yet made a serious bid for the midfielder.
Sky Sports – quoting their sister company Sky Italia – claim that Verona are ”expected” to make an offer for Yilmaz with the suggestion being that no move has been made as things stand. That would account for Ridvan Yilmaz’s attendance at the Rangers training camp in Spain, where the full-back was pictured in the first official training photos taken during the tour for the Ibrox club.

Ridvan Yilmaz is still obviously a Rangers player as of right now, but we wonder how long that will last given that the Ibrox team is supposedly lining up possible replacements. It’s also possible that Verona is holding off on signing Yilmaz until after a few cogs in their own squad spin..
