James Tavernier to join the Rangers In light of Saudi claims, a January departure cannot be totally ruled out – Chris Jack.

Chris Jack feels it would be “silly” to totally rule out the possibility of a Saudi team buying James Tavernier from the Rangers, despite the fact that he has heard of alleged interest in the player on multiple occasions.

Regarding whether a player would be persuaded by the wealth available in the Middle East, all bets are off, however Jordan Henderson’s attempts to return to England already imply that it doesn’t mean everything.

However, letting the captain go would be risky unless Rangers had enough cash on hand to finance a complete reconstruction for Philippe Clement.
