Tim Sherwood says Unai Emery will drop Aston Villa star for RB Leipzig clash
It is difficult to deal with and balance the demands of the Premier League with the excellent Champions League matches on the schedule.
Because of this, Aston Villa went on an eight-game losing streak and was in a serious slump until improving over the course of the last week.
Villa defeated Brentford at home on Wednesday night, and they followed that victory by defeating Southampton, with Jon Duran scoring the game’s lone goal.
It simply lifts everyone’s spirits and gives the players a break as they get ready for yet another demanding week.
It starts with Aston Villa’s away clash at RB Leipzig on Tuesday night and the chance for Emery to push his team into the top eight of the Champions League.
Against the Saints – and the same for the Brentford match – changes were made to the XI and Tim Sherwood thinks that will continue for the trip to Germany.
Tim Sherwood says Unai Emery will drop Jhon Duran for Ollie Watkins against RB Leipzig
Despite being a Pot 1 team, RB Leipzig has lost all of their games thus far, including a 2-1 victory over Juventus in which the opposition was reduced to ten men, yet the Italian squad emerged victorious.
There are obviously problems there, but Villa must play their best lineup possible and cannot undervalue them.
Sherwood believes the Colombian star will be benched for the Leipzig game despite Duran adding to his goal total once more.
In an interview with Sky Sports News on July 12, 24 at 2:50 pm, he also stated that the Villa manager simply does not like the notion of playing Watkins and Duran together.

Sherwood remarked, “You are probably right, he fancies one up front.” He wants to go that way. Duran has had his opportunity to play, to be fair. Both of them could play, in my opinion.
