Southampton could end up becoming the worst team in the history of the Premier League.

Of the 646 teams who have finished top-flight seasons since 1992, Derby has the fewest points. In 2007–08, the Rams only managed to score 11 points.

However, Saints, who have only won five of their 15 games thus far, require a significant overhaul to stay out of the spotlight.
