Birmingham’s Aston Villa news You may see the reported interest in AS Roma on Live. Aston Villa has surfaced as a possible destination for Leonardo Spinazzola, the left-back for AS Roma.

The 30-year-old Villa and rivals Arsenal are rumored to be interested in the Italian, according to La Roma 24. He is free to speak with another team this month as his contract is about to expire in the summer.

His agent Davide Lippe confirmed by telling Sport Italia: “There is no chance for renewal. Let’s see how the January market develops otherwise [his contract] will expire.”

Apart from Villa and Arsenal, II Tempo claims that Spinazzola is apparently interested in signing with Galatasaray and numerous Saudi Arabian clubs. However, there have been “no concrete offers” received thus far.

Roma manager Jose Mourinho once stated of Spinazzola, “Not only is he a great professional but he has also shown great personal qualities.” Both Lucas Digne and Alex Moreno are options for Unai Emery at left back. The latter is expected to be absent for several weeks due to a hamstring issue.
