SWANSEA CITY’S MEMORY TREE FOR CWTSH CLOS
For all of us, Christmas is a season of increased emotion. It is a time to honour those who were tragically gone too
soon in addition to the pleasant occasion of getting together with friends and family for festive celebrations.
To honour departed loved ones who passed away in infancy, Swansea City has started a Memory Tree for charity
partner Swansea Bay Health Charity Cwtsh Clos appeal for Christmas.
The goal of the campaign is to collect money for the renovation of five residences used by the families of ill and small
infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Singleton Hospital.
Families of infants receiving treatment in the intensive care unit can remain close by since the houses offer a home
separate from home.
Unfortunately, not all of these visits have a happy outcome, and we are introducing the Memory Tree to remember
those we have lost.
The tree – kindly donated to the campaign by Gower Fresh Christmas Trees – will be on display in the stadium club
shop throughout the festive period and Jacks can add a bauble engraved with the name of their loved one for a
minimum donation of £3.
Since Stephen Hughes, who tragically lost his granddaughter Eryn in March 2023, donated the baubles, extra proceeds from the sales will go straight to Cwtsh Clos.
The entire donation amount will be donated to Cwtsh Clos for those who fill out the form and make a purchase at the
club shop. Hosts Enthuse may charge a processing fee for online donations made below.
Our Cwtsh Clos campaign is funded by the money raised from our memorial tree.
Four colour options are available: pink, blue, silver, or an untreated wooden look. In order for us to return the
baubles to you in the new year, please make sure you fill out the form with the right phone number, email address,
and postal address.
