Milwaukee police arrested a 30-year-old man in the homicide at a flag football game over the weekend.
The arrest follows a Saturday shooting at Milwaukee Public Schools’ South Stadium that killed 47-year-old Raysean Barnes of Milwaukee. Police said they will refer criminal charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
Barnes was shot at the game and taken to a hospital where he died, according to initial police reports. Authorities said they arrested a 37-year-old in connection with the shooting, but later said they were not a suspect.
