Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Teases Taking a Penalty If It Means Securing Elusive 14th Sack

Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Teases Taking a Penalty If It Means Securing Elusive 14th Sack.

Star linebacker Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys has never been able to achieve 14 sacks in a season previously, having

always fallen just short of not quite up to par. He has 13 sacks on the season going into Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Washington Commanders.

Parsons told reporters on Wednesday, “I literally just had this conversation with the guys today.” “At this stage, by

the year once more, and the two-time All-Pro is determined to go above and beyond to set a new career high.any means

essential. This week, I might jump offsides twice. Something needs to shift. Something. It will happen soon. It will definitely arrive.”

Parsons, who was named Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021, notched 13 sacks in his first NFL season and then tallied 13.5 in

2022. Now sitting at 13 exactly, he just needs one big play to eclipse his career high.

Naturally, Washington signal-caller Sam Howell will lose out on the personal achievement, as he will probably be spending

the 24-year-old phenomenon in the afternoon by running.

Howell has already taken 61 sacks this season, which leads the league, so Parsons should be optimistic about his chances.

The Commanders (4–12) and Cowboys (11–5) will play on Fox at 4:25 p.m. ET.
