Cowboys star Micah Parsons joins elite company ahead of regular season finale

Micah Parsons joined elite company this past Saturday.

The Cowboys star pass rusher and Harrisburg native registered his 102nd pressure this season during Dallas’ game against the Detroit Lions, a game the Cowboys won, 20-19.

Since 2006, Parsons is only one of just four NFL players to record 100 pressures in a single season. Other notable ones are Aaron Donald’s 106 pressures with the Rams in 2018, Maxx Crosby’s 100 pressures with the Raiders in 2021, and J.J. Watt’s incredible 119 pressures for the Texans in 2014.

As of the last week of the regular season, the former Penn State player has recorded 13 sacks and 59 total tackles (of which 32 are solo and 27 are assisted).

Holding first place in the NFC East, the Cowboys aim to clinch the division and No. 2 seed in the playoffs when Dallas takes on the Washington Commanders Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
