SWANSEA CITY STANDS TOGETHER AGAINST RACISM

Swansea City supports the EFL’s ‘Together Against Racism’ initiative, joining clubs nationwide.

As we support the anti-racism charity Show Racism the Red Card and spread their message, today’s home game

versus Millwall (October 26) will be our special Together versus Racism match.

We at Swansea City are pleased of the friendly environment you foster at the Swansea.com Stadium each matchday

because we think football is a game for everyone, worldwide. Nonetheless, there are hundreds of reports of

discrimination throughout the game each season, and there are probably even more that are not reported.

Your voice counts whether you’re a manager, player, spectator, or fan at home. The ability to speak up, unite, and use

our voices is a tremendous instrument for bringing about change.

Ben Cabango and Harry Darling, the center-backs, remind us of that message.

Lord Ouseley, the founder of Kick It Out, an anti-discrimination charity, was a man who used his voice to advocate

for equality and inclusion in football and beyond. He tragically died earlier this month. He committed his life to

combating racism and advancing diversity, and as a result of his efforts, tremendous progress has been made in the

fight against discrimination.

Racism is unacceptable, and we will work together to eradicate it from our game. Anyone found engaging in racist or

discriminatory activity will be swiftly and firmly disciplined by Swansea City, which will collaborate with the

appropriate authorities to ensure that offenders face club fines and police action.

To combat racism in our sport, the EFL is united with its clubs, players, managers, and fans in adopting a zero-

tolerance policy.

You can use any of the following methods to report racist or discriminatory abuse to the club directly:

Together, we will continue to make football a safer, more welcoming and enjoyable space for everyone.
