The latest Watford squad news as Tom Cleverley’s side prepares to play Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.
Watford aims to win against Blackburn Rovers today after losing their last two games.

Watford had a strong start to the season, now in ninth place after 11 games, just outside the play-offs.

However, Tom Cleverley’s side has just encountered a stumbling obstacle. They have lost three of their previous four games, including a devastating 3-0 loss to rivals Luton Town.

Despite a strong showing, the Hornets fell 2-1 against Leeds United, leaving Cleverley dissatisfied with their lack of success.

This weekend’s opponents, Blackburn Rovers, are three points ahead of Watford and barely within the play-off positions. After four points in their past two games, they will be confident heading to Vicarage Road.

Head coach Cleverley revealed that Tom Dele-Bashiru will miss this weekend’s game. The midfielder suffered a knee injury in the defeat to Luton Town and requires further tests.

Cleverley also indicated that the game came too early for Kevin Keben and Jeremy Ngakia, saying:

“Kévin Keben and Jeremy Ngakia are both coming closer, but we’re unlikely to see them this weekend. Jeremy is taking a little slower, but Kevin looks quite fit in training.”

The manager also stated that Angelo Ogbonna will be out for six to eight weeks due to a hamstring issue.There are no new injury worries for the game, though. Festy Ebosele and Edo Kayembe have both recovered from injuries suffered on Tuesday evening.
