In the Champions League, Celtic’s recent goalless draw with Atalanta, Brendan Rodgers commended Auston Trusty for his outstanding performance, emphasising the defender’s defensive prowess and perseverance.
Trusty’s performance in Italy demonstrated his power, quickness, and ability to perform under pressure—elements that Rodgers said were important factors in his recruitment to Celtic.
