QUICK EXIT Sudden moment Rangers star abruptly walks off the pitch in tears.

THIS is the moment Cyriel Dessers seemed to substitute HIMSELF and depart the pitch in tears. The Rangers striker stormed off the pitch at Ibrox just as Vaclav Cerny scored 3-0 against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League match.
Dessers had been down for a few minutes, receiving treatment for a serious head hit, before scoring. And as Cerny struck, the striker was down again, this time on the edge of the box. Dessers tossed his arm up in rage after hitting the deck, and as the rest of the team applauded, he quickly walked off the pitch on his own, with no apparent instructions to do so. He then marched straight up the tube, pointing to his face as his eyes filled with tears. Hamza Igamane was brought in to replace him, but the young forward was caught up in a frenzy on the bench because he was not ready to play.
Fans on social media speculated as to why Dessers dragged himself off and went up the tunnel without consulting Philippe Clement. Gers #2 Stephan Van Der Heyden made a quick pause to speak with Dessers, but then continued walking. Another fan commented: “Dessers might genuinely be injured but just walking off down the tunnel is embarrassing Clement and the staff are rightly fuming.”
