Wolves lineup vs. Brighton: Predicted XI for Premier League clash.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Gary O’Neil may face a goalkeeping dilemma for Saturday’s Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium. The 20th-placed visitors were defeated by a late John Stones goal in last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City, leaving them bottom of the standings and winless after eight matches this season.

Johnstone may be back in contention for the weekend’s game, but Sa has done more than enough to keep his spot in goal, and O’Neil may stay with the same starting lineup as in the loss to Manchester City. The Wolves manager went with a more defensive system against the champions, which almost worked well, allowing Santiago Bueno, Craig Dawson, and Toti to start in the middle once more, while Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri took over at wing-back. Andre was substituted at halftime in the defeat to the champs, a decision that O’Neil said was tactical due to the Brazilian’s inability to find his typical rhythm, but Saturday’s game should be more his style.

Andre, Joao Gomes, and Mario Lemina should be left alone in midfield, while Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha are critical to the Wolves’ assault. Hwang Hee-chan (ankle), Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera, and Boubacar Traore (all knee) will miss this game due to injuries for the visitors. Wolverhampton Wanderers’ likely starting lineup: Sa; Toti, Bueno, Dawson; Semedo, Gomes, Andre, Lemina, Ait-Nouri; Larsen, Cunha.
