FOREST UNVEIL EXCITING TRAINING GROUND TRANSFORMATION SPEARHEADED BY OWNER EVANGELOS MARINAKIS

Following a multi-million dollar investment spearheaded by Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of Nottingham Forest, Nottingham Forest is excited to unveil the spectacular

makeover of the club’s Training Ground.

The Club has been working on an extensive renovation project all summer long to improve The City site and modernise the Nigel

Doughty Academy, which serves as its training site.

The program’s largest expenditure has been the installation of a brand-new, cutting-edge 405 square meter gym, physio rooms, and

rehabilitation rooms, all of which improve player performance, strength and conditioning, and recuperation.

The players’ changing area has also undergone renovations; it now contains a brand-new sauna, ice tubs, and hot baths for the best

possible muscle rehabilitation.

Expanded restaurant seating, a live cooking station, a permanent coffee barista station, and a new, high-end kitchen for the club’s

team of chefs and nutritionists are all located in the recently renovated dining area.

The building’s back has been expanded to provide a new lounge room with floor to ceiling windows framing the training pitches. It

features a comfortable lounge area, a pool table, gaming stations and table tennis.

The training ground’s new breakout spaces facilitate better player-staff interaction, which improves the quality of one-on-one coaching

and performance evaluation sessions.

Remodelled and expanded offices can be found upstairs at the Nigel Doughty Academy. These include a brand-new boardroom, a

series of striking meeting rooms, and a video analysis room with direct balcony access for recording training sessions.

This comes after extensive work that was finished before the summer, including the construction of two new hybrid pitches with

surfaces that rival those of the renowned City Ground.
