Celtic left-back Greg Taylor and his wife Laura have shared the joyous news that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in March 2025.
The revelation was made on Laura’s Instagram by the couple, who got married earlier this summer before Greg left for Scotland to compete in the Euros.
Laura sent a heartfelt message on social media with the following caption:
“My sweetheart 🎀 will be here in march 2025 đź’•.”
As Laura and Greg get ready to receive their baby girl next year, I wish them success and congrats on their joyful union!
Greg is going to have a busy month of March.
In addition to becoming a father, his future might still be uncertain because Celtic want to succeed on two fronts.
Greg’s Celtic contract is scheduled to end in the summer of 2022, and as of right now, it doesn’t appear like any talks about a new agreement are moving forward.
Then there’s the matter of why he would like to remain at Celtic, a team whose supporters are not above criticising him and spreading speculations of a left-back replacing the Scotland international each transfer window.
While Greg Taylor welcomes his daughter into the world, Alex Valle will probably take over for a few weeks.
