Hlungwani: Stellenbosch were robbed against Pirates, Tom helped them win the MTN8

Former PSL referee Victor Hlungwani said Stellenbosch were clearly robbed against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final on Saturday.

“Let’s look at the law, the law says it must be taken where the offense occurred,” Hlungwani said.

So, here it was not taken from where the offence occurred or within the radius, and that’s where the problem is and that’s why we are saying the referee should have put it back.”

“The referee should have put it back to where the infringement occurred. So, this was an incorrect decision by the referee in terms of the procedure for a free kick which is law 13.
