Luis Palma makes decision in attempt to save Celtic career

It’s incredible how quickly things have changed for Luis Palma at Celtic.

During the first half of last season, he was one of the club’s best players, consistently scoring and providing assists. His overall game needed work, but that could be forgiven as long as he was performing in front of goal.

Unfortunately, Palma’s output declined later in the campaign, and he lost his spot in the starting XI correspondingly.

Even yet, it was a solid debut campaign. He scored 20 goals from the flank, averaging one in less than 100 minutes. These numbers are quite promising. Palma showed great potential in the preseason, even scoring against Manchester City. However, in recent weeks, there has been much speculation about his probable departure after struggling to break into the team at the start of the season. Initially, he served as a reserve, but even those appearances are becoming increasingly infrequent.

Luis Palma decides to try to rescue his Celtic career.

The good thing is that it looks like Palma wants to save his Celtic career, not push for an exit. And he has taken a few steps in hopes of making that happen.

According to El Heraldo, Palma has decided to take a break from social media and focus on recovering his level. He has also decided to stay away from the media spotlight and ignore what the media say about his future or present at Celtic. While there is no doubt about Palma’s ability, it remains to be seen if he can produce that on a consistent basis. It will be difficult to get ahead of himself.
