David Beckham delivers cheeky six-word verdict on Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham

The former England star has been discussing the midfielder for Sunderland.

Football legend David Beckham offered a sardonic assessment of Sunderland midfielder Josh Bellingham’s remarkable physicality.

As the season progresses, the teenager’s play for the Black Cats has been remarkable, and one of the most visible ways that his game has improved recently is the noticeable increase in his strength and power in the middle of the field. However, Bellingham’s rise was noticed even before the new ad launched, although by an unexpected source.

In the most recent installment of his brother Jude’s YouTube documentary series, Jobe is jetted out to participate in a video game promotional shoot for EA Sports’ FC25. As a cover star, Beckham is also there to be filmed with the England midfielder. During a brief conversation with Bellingham’s mother Denise, he gestures to Jobe and asks, “What are you feeding the boys?!?” in an incredulous tone. After that, Jobe and Jude are seen competing in an FC25 match, and the elder Bellingham recommends that they play “Real Madrid vs. Sunderland.”

Jude expresses his affection for his younger brother in yet another episode clip, adding, “To be fair, anytime my brother is around, I feel happy, I feel more confident, and I feel like I’ve got my best mate there.”

“He clearly has a few more games left in the 2023–2024 season, and then he will join us and stay with us until my season ends.” To be really honest, right now, I’m more excited about that than anything else in the world. I honestly can’t wait to have my brother around me for a few months, but I wouldn’t say that to him and I hope he can’t hear me.

Jude’s documentary series has included Jobe on a frequent basis. In a recent episode, the Real Madrid idol expressed his want for his younger brother to be evaluated based solely on his own abilities, rather than in relation to his elder brother. “I worry that people will judge him based on my achievements,” he stated. However, I’m quite aware of that as I know that people will always want to put that in his face, which is unfair given his incredible talent and skill as a player in and of itself. We’re almost like one other’s biggest fans but also the largest targets for each other since we care about each other so deeply. People will use him to make fun of me and vice versa.
