Ally McCoist shares what he ‘genuinely’ thinks about Celtic’s chances vs Borussia Dortmund

Ally McCoist continues to build up to the major Champions League match by discussing his thoughts on Celtic’s prospects of defeating Borussia Dortmund.

The Bundesliga giants are suffering for form after Bochum showed some of their weaknesses despite Nuri Sahin’s side sealing a 4-2 win against them.

Dortmund’s disastrous 5-1 loss to VfB Stuttgart earlier in the season has left Celtic hopeful of a comeback at the Westenfallonstadion tonight, given the turbulent start to the previous season for the runners-up in the Champions League.

Celtic has been imposing, playing some amazing football and scoring some truly unique goals to retain their unblemished start to the season. This is in stark contrast to the German team.

For this reason, Ally McCoist has expressed his opinion over Celtic’s chances of winning tonight in Germany.

McCoist believes Celtic and Dortmund “have a chance.”

While discussing Celtic’s season opening performance, McCoist mentioned that he believed Brendan Rodgers’ team had a chance to win tonight against the Bundesliga’s top team.

McCoist stated, “I think they have a chance,” to talkSPORT. I genuinely do. They have had an incredibly successful start to the season, doing admirably across the board.

“Carter-Vickers is a miss. He hasn’t, in my opinion, traveled. With Carter-Vickers on the roster, I believe Celtics are a much superior team. This will be by far the biggest test of the season, without a doubt.
