‘I’ve had enough’ – Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards walk out on live Alisson interview.

Following Liverpool’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain, Alisson had Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards joke about storming off set.

The Reds won in the French capital on Wednesday night courtesy to Harvey Elliott’s late goal.

Alisson spoke to CBS Sports after Liverpool's win over PSG

Goalkeeper Alisson delivered a man-of-the-match performance to keep out the home side, who had controlled the first leg before a late smash-and-grab. With nine saves, the shot-stopper set a new Liverpool record for most Champions League clean sheets (22). Following the win, the Brazilian spoke with CBS Sports Golazo from the Parc des Princes. After being interviewed by Peter Schmeichel, Alisson spoke with Carragher, Richards, Thierry Henry, and Kate Abdo in the studio.

Richards said, “Who’s your favourite on the show?” after discovering he had seen it. However, the keeper’s response left half of the panel unimpressed, as he explained: “I believe I would have to say Thierry, legend.” “while I was growing up, I used to watch Arsenal in the early 2000s while he was playing. So it was the only team shown on Brazilian television.” Alisson’s response caused Liverpool legend Carragher and former Manchester City defender Richards to playfully storm off set, with the latter saying, “I’ve had enough of this.” Meanwhile, Henry complimented Alisson for his response in Portuguese, stating “Obrigado.”

It had been an historic performance from the 32-year-old in Paris as the hosts failed to score from 27 attempts on goal.

Alisson’s nine saves are the most by a Liverpool custodian in a Champions League match since records began in 2003/04. Elliott scored the winning goal only 46 seconds after coming off the bench, thanks to his courageous efforts. After the match, Alisson told TNT Sports: “It was probably the best performance of my life.” “The manager told us how difficult it would be to play against PSG, how good they are with the ball, and that we needed to be prepared to suffer. “We knew what was coming.” Elliott noted, “[Alisson] is incredible, the best in the world.” He demonstrates it in every game and keeps us engaged in a variety of them. Without him I don’t know where we would be.”

The midfielder’s strike was one of just two shots Arne Slot’s side managed during the 90 minutes.
