Manchester United are keeping tabs on Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson as they look for a new second-choice goalkeeper.
Turkish international Altay Bayindir has played second fiddle to Andre Onana since the start of last season, but he has made just two appearances for the Red Devils. Bayindir featured in the FA Cup against Newport back in January before starting the 7-0 win over Barnsley earlier this month.
Despite having Bayindir, United are tracking Patterson. According to The Sun, United, Liverpool and Crystal Palace are said to be interested, but Sunderland would want at least £20million to consider a sale. Patterson is a former England Under-21 international and has been a regular for Sunderland for a number of years now.
Meanwhile, another report from The Sun claims that League One side Birmingham City are planning a sensational £10m move for Sunderland star Chris Rigg
Elsewhere, AC Milan have reportedly joined United in the race to sign Lecce star Patrick Dorgu. The left-back, who can also play as a wing-back, was wanted by Napoli this summer, but Lecce managed to hold onto the 19-year-old.
