Evangelos Marinakis has found who he wants as his statement signing for Nottingham Forest

The Reds, who are presently in third position in the Premier League standings, will be hoping to qualify for some form of European competition.

In January, Forest made an attempt to sign a striker. But like many other teams, Forest had trouble finding players during the midseason transfer window.

Prior to agreeing to a new deal at Molineux, Forest made a move for Wolves star Matheus Cunha, while Yoane Wissa was targeted but decided to remain with Brentford.

It seems that Forest will be seeing more than simply strikers this summer. Links to players are already beginning to circulate, and it would appear that another midfield player is being considered.

Tottenham and Forest are vying for the Italian midfield player’s services this summer, according to TuttoSport.

Since joining Inter in 2023, Frattesi has made 32 appearances and scored four goals for the San Siro-based powerhouses in the 2024–25 season.

However, the 25-year-old won’t be inexpensive. Inter wants to turn a profit on its player, and it is estimated that Frattesi will cost the team £40 million in the summer.

For Forest, the pay is anticipated to be mediocre. The Reds will have a huge player pool if Champions League football is guaranteed, which might make this move the main attraction.

There are many midfielders in Forest’s roster, and if Frattesi joins the Garibaldi next season, they might be getting one or two.

In addition to Morgan Gibbs-White, the current midfield lineup includes Nicolas Dominguez, Elliott Anderson, Ryan Yates, Ibrahim Sangare, and Danilo.
