Alan Rough says that although Celtic have had a great start to the season, Rangers can yet beat them.

In the Scottish Premiership, the Bhoys have won five straight games and appear to be untouchable right now.

After securing a thrilling victory in the Champions League opener, Celtic seemed certain to win every game this year.

But after a rocky beginning under Philippe Clement, Rangers are clicking under his leadership and have won three straight games since their loss to Celtic.

According to Rough, although it could appear that Celtic will win every game going forward, “it won’t happen.” He believes that at some moment, teams like Hearts, Rangers, and others will stop Celtic’s dominance.

“Yes, on paper, but it’s not going to happen. Since other teams must cooperate,” Rough stated on PLZ Soccer.

I believe that Rangers are more of a force. Aberdeen is undoubtedly a formidable power. Hearts and Hibs aren’t playing well together. Therefore, I would pick one of these sides to defeat Celtic.

Rangers at Ibrox can defeat Celtic

Here, Rough is exactly right. Though the season is just getting started, Celtic seem invincible right now. There should be plenty of turns and turns, and if Celtic loses a couple games in the Champions League, they might find themselves in a similar predicament as they were in the previous season.

Rangers can exact revenge on the Hoops at Ibrox after losing 3-0 at Parkhead earlier in the season. Under Philippe Clement, the Germans want to gain winning momentum and are firmly in the running for the championship.

Enjoying a league campaign without a loss is not always simple, and Celtic may face difficulties at some point. The Hoops still have a good possibility of dropping a couple games.
