Pundit makes ‘strong’ claim for Derby County as he makes score prediction vs Norwich City.

Derby County have been praised as a ‘strong’ side under Paul Warne before the Norwich City clash.

Derby County will be hoping to make it four wins on the bounce at home so far this season, with Norwich City sitting in their way.

It has been a brilliant start to proceedings for Paul Warne’s side, who have demonstrated such incredible abilities, particularly on the defensive side, whilst playing at Pride Park, with them yet to concede a single goal at home this season.

The Rams will unfortunately be without the likes of David Ozoh, who has played a crucial and key role up until this point in the centre-of-the-park, however Ben Osborn will likely fill into his role.

There is every bit of optimism that Warne’s side can continue their terrific form, with predictions certainly angling in the direction of a Derby County win.

‘Strong’ Derby County predicted home win vs Norwich City

Derby County will move closer to the play-offs if they can secure three more points against the Canaries, and there’s a good chance they can accomplish so this afternoon.

When asked if he thought Derby County will continue their home form, David Prutton responded, per Sky Sports Championship Predictions, saying, “Derby, given the fact they are ahead of them [Norwich City] in the table on their return is relatively a job well done so far for Paul Warne.”

Indeed, their strength at home gives them an advantage.

“They need to step up their ability to win on the road a few notches if they want to have an extremely successful season.

Derby County win will be big indicator of top half finish

Pride Park’s atmosphere has changed significantly since the team’s defeat to Blackburn Rovers on opening day. Owner David Clowes wants to sell up to 80% of his Derby County stake, but the team is making progress both on and off the ball.

While Opta projections indicate that the Rams will end 14th in the Championship, there is every possibility that they might improve towards a possible top half finish this season. As of right now, the Rams are clearly performing above their initial aspirations of avoiding relegation.

Controlling the flow against a respectable Norwich City team will undoubtedly improve, and their current form is unquestionably leading them in the direction of a strong finish in the 2024–25 Championship campaign.
