Frank Lampard details emerge out of Rangers as he finds new job.
According to the Daily Mail, Frank Lampard was considered for the role of manager at Ibrox in October, but now leads Coventry City.
On November 28, the publication said on its website that many Ibrox executives believed the Englishman should have been granted the post solely because of his good links with Chelsea and Manchester City.
Lampard also made a significant impression during the interview process, but the Light Blues ultimately decided on Philippe Clement as Michael Beale’s replacement.

With Clement floundering as Rangers manager, one wonders what would have happened if Lampard had been hired instead of him last year.
The Chelsea icon was considered to succeed Beale as manager of the Gers, reaching the final round of interviews (Keith Jackson).
Govan’s senior executives may be regretting their decision to sign Clement, since the team is now third in the Scottish Premiership, 11 points behind archrivals Celtic.
However, it is natural that the management had qualms about Lampard, who averaged just one point in 44 games as Everton’s manager between January 2022 and January 2023.
The 46-year-old also struggled while serving as Chelsea’s caretaker manager at the end of last season.
Lampard was seen as a potential possibility for Rangers due to Clement’s pressure, but will now focus on leading Coventry to Premier League success.
