Nottingham Forest to make €23m offer for signing – Player with PL dream ‘to leave’ in January.
Last week, we highlighted allegations from Brazil that Nottingham Forest is pursuing Corinthians’ Yuri Alberto. He also indicated he wants to move to England, and his agency is determined to make it happen in January.
According to Bolavip in Brazil, Nottingham Forest is willing to go above and beyond to sign the striker.
According to reports, the 23-year-old will receive an offer from an English team ‘to leave’ Corinthians during the winter transfer window.
Nottingham Forest are the only team named in the report, which indicates that they will submit an initial €23 million fee. This would imply that the bonuses are excluded from the Reds’ offer.
According to the article, the Brazilian club would expect a greater fee, although they did not specify what it would be. Corinthians have opened talks with Nuno Espírito Santo’s side to transfer the player after receiving a bid of €23 million.
Southampton and West Ham United, in addition to Nottingham Forest, have expressed interest in the frontman. Bolavip makes no mention of the Saints or the Hammers, although both could make offers for him.
Alberto had 27 goals and six assists in 54 games for Corinthians this year.
