BBC NEWS; Rangers reveal FULL Ibrox Stadium will be open after finally getting Copland rear green light as Hibs set for allocation

BBC NEWS; Rangers unveil FULL. Ibrox Stadium will open after finally gaining the Copland rear green light as Hibs ready for allocation.

The Light Blues will be able to play in front of a full Ibrox stadium for the first time in four months.

Rangers are yet to confirm away information to Hibs for Ibrox trip at end of the month

Rangers will reopen Ibrox Stadium after receiving safety clearance for the Copland Road rear for Sunday’s Scottish Premiership match against Hibs.

The Light Blues have not been allowed to play in front of a full house at Ibrox since last May, with Hampden Park serving as a temporary home in the early part of the season and just the front of the Copland opening for last week’s Premier Sports Cup match against Dundee. Rangers have confirmed the reopening of the Copland Rear, allowing them maximum capacity at Ibrox Stadium for their Scottish Premiership encounter against Hibernian on Sunday.

“The club cannot thank our dedicated supporters enough for their patience over the last few weeks while work on the Copland Stand to give first-class facilities for our handicapped supporters, as well as an increase in total capacity, has been underway.
The reopening this weekend coincides with Rangers’ 125th anniversary at their famous home, with everyone at the club looking forward to a terrific match on Sunday afternoon.”

Easter Road officials issued a statement saying, “We can confirm that Hibernian FC will receive a full away allocation for this Sunday’s William Hill Premiership match against Rangers.” Rangers has just sent us the ticket details, which will go on sale to Hibs First members at 5 p.m.

“Full ticket information and further sale dates will be announced at 5 p.m. We’d like to thank our fans for their patience throughout this challenging period.”
