Uros Racic message will give West Brom early confidence over summer transfer: View.

Since joining West Bromwich Albion on loan in the summer, Uros Racic has been enjoying life at the Hawthorns.

The Serbian, who signed a loan with the Baggies from Sassuolo last month, made his season debut in last weekend’s 1-0 triumph over Plymouth Argyle.

The Black Country team defeated the Pilgrims to extend their unbeaten start to the 24/25 campaign to six games. The 26-year-old was a reliable presence in the middle of the pitch.

In his first complete game for Albion, Racic hardly made a mistake. Since the loanee is thriving in England, Carlos Corberan’s team may be considering signing him to a permanent contract by next summer.

Uros Racic message after West Bromwich Albion start

Prior to the weekend, Baggies supporters have only seen brief appearances from Racic—a 25-minute cameo against Swansea City prior to the international break, followed by a similar time on the pitch against Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

However, with Jayson Molumby sidelined due to injury, the Serbian entered the starting lineup for Wayne Rooney’s team’s visit and appeared to have been playing that position for years.

The Albion loanee, with his commanding presence in the middle of the pitch, disrupted numerous attempts by the visitors to counterattack and served as a catalyst for numerous possession sequences for his own team.

Racic expressed his happiness with life in the Black Country on Instagram following his first start for the team, writing:

Like most youngsters, I got into football because I was in love, and now I’m experiencing that emotion again for the first time in a long time.

“Like every assist and goal, I look forward to every training session and new game. Being able to assist the team in scoring points in the most crucial of games is such a wonderful feeling.

“I would sincerely love to stay healthy and fit so that more fantastic matches can happen until the end of the season.”

Uros Racic regains his enthusiasm for the game and adjusts to championship football with ease.

With his all-action performance over the weekend demonstrating that he is more than capable of holding his own in the English second division, Racic has quickly established himself as a mainstay in the Baggies midfield.

The midfielder began his career with his native Red Star Belgrade before joining Valencia for five years, albeit his periods in and out of the team were interspersed with loan assignments throughout Europe.

Since the Serb moved to Italy last summer perhaps in an attempt to start over in the game, that will have definitely affected how much fun he gets out of the match.

However, the midfielder now appears completely at home on and off the field with the Baggies, with both the player and the club profiting from the summer’s agreement to bring him to England, having started just eight games for Sassuolo during the previous campaign.

Albion will have early confidence that, should things continue at their current rate, they can finalise a permanent deal in the summer, since the new newcomer is already settling in well. He appears to be adding a lot in the engine room already as the Baggies.
