Sheff Wed v Sunderland Team News: Five changes for Black Cats

REGIS LE BRIS has made five changes to the Sunderland lineup from the one that began last weekend’s home loss to Watford for tonight’s match against Sheffield Wednesday.
Due to injuries that will keep them out of action for at least a month, two of the alterations are enforced: Dan Ballard and Enzo Le Fee.

However, in an effort to rejuvenate his team following consecutive losses, Le Bris has also chosen to make three additional changes, with Wilson Isidor, Chris Rigg, and Dennis Cirkin all leaving the starting lineup.

Leo Hjelde and Chris Mepham both start in the back four, with the latter starting at left-back in place of Cirkin and the former taking Ballard’s place at center-half.

Returning to the starting lineup, Alan Browne joins Jobe Bellingham and Dan Neil in a midfield trio.

Eliezer Mayenda is selected to start in attack in lieu of Isidor, and Mundle takes Le Fee’s spot on the left side due to injury.
