Philippe Clement is no Rangers ‘all singing and dancing’ man but pundit astounded by ‘extraordinary’ realisation

Philippe Clement is no Rangers ‘all singing and Dancing’ man but pundit astounded by ‘extraordinary’ Realization.

The Belgian won his first piece of silverware last weekend and is still unbeaten as the Ibrox leader.

One pundit believes Philippe Clement can lead Rangers on long winning streaks because of a statistic about the team.

The Belgian won the Visaplay Cup last weekend at Hampden, defeating Aberdeen.

He has managed Ibrox for 16 games without a loss. He is anticipated to upset Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday, with some

focus shifting to the significant derby matchup with Celtic the following weekend.

Former Scotland star Pat Nevin has been left very impressed with the work carried out by Clement in the early stages of his reign.

Michael Beale left the club in October with a gap to make-up on Celtic, but Rangers can go two points behind their rivals with

two games in hand at Motherwell. They have conceded just eight league goals in 17 matches – three under their current boss’

regime – and Nevin has been left stunned over the stat which is the basis for strong form.

“It is 16 games, won 13, drawn three,” he said to Sportsound. He has won 16 of his previous games. Examine the league, please.

This season, the Premiership has already seen eight goals conceded.

“That is really remarkable. Even though there won’t always be music and dancing, if you don’t give up goals, you won’t have an

opportunity to win games and extend your winning streak. That seems like a very remarkable number to me.”
