With four games remaining in the regular season, Inter Miami is poised to have a memorable year in the Major League Soccer.
After defeating the New England Revolution and achieving yet another feat that many believed was unattainable this
season, the Herons will shatter the record for the most points earned during the season with ten points from the
remaining games.

And one of Inter Miami’s high-profile additions from this season has recently come under fire from an MLS specialist.
Federico Redondo labelled as a disappointment for Inter Miami
Speaking on Extratime, Matt Doyle emphasised how Federico Redondo, who cost $10 million and had a stellar
reputation when he arrived from Argentina in the winter window, has been a bit of a letdown for Inter Miami this year.
The 21-year-old Inter Miami midfielder, who is the son of former Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Redondo, hasn’t
lived up to the high expectations placed on him given the excitement the young player brought with him.
“Federico Redondo, I ended up having him sixth [on the 22 Under 22 list], and I loved this guy coming into the
league,” Doyle stated in response to the question of which young player has disappointed him this season. Although
his father is one of my all-time favourite players, he hasn’t performed to the level I had anticipated.
“I was thinking about that game while I was creating my list since he was awful this past weekend. Nevertheless, he
started for a club that will finish with 73 or 74 points, and there was a reason he was sold for $10 million.
Redondo will want to prove his worth next year with the Herons
Redondo might be gone in the January transfer window if things don’t get better between now and the
conclusion of the window, as there are already rumours indicating that River Plate are interested in signing him.
Redondo will want to show his value in a significant way the following season, though, if he decides to
continue in Major League Soccer. He had a difficult year adjusting to life in America, with form and injuries playing a part.
Redondo is a gifted player with the potential to be a star in Europe if he can regain his development.
Perhaps the young player needs another year at Inter Miami to reach the heights that many have high expectations for the Argentinean prospect.
